Who we are

Born from the idea that companies rise and fall on the strength of their organization cultures, TD Talk Story partners with businesses looking to transform (or refine) their workplace cultures and develop their people into high performers.

In order for this to happen, we believe that organizations must recognize (and invest in) their greatest asset - their people. Legendary salesman, author, and motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar probably said it best…”You don’t build a business. You build people, and then people build the business.”

And that’s what we seek to help organizations do - develop the people who will ultimately build the business - through our Talent Development, Organization Development (OD), and Learning & Development (L&D) work.

While the range of our people and organization development offerings is deep and can be customized, these services tend to fall within 3 categories: fractional senior leadership, consultation, or facilitation. You can read more about our services here.

No matter what your people or organization development needs are, TD Talk Story can help! Feel free to reach out via our contact form or you can email us directly at info@tdtalkstory.com.

With over 14 years of experience in Talent Development, Nicole has worked in multiple industries including government contracting, banking, education, and nonprofit, but always in her little slice of paradise where she can champion organization culture and people development.

Over the years, Nicole worked in one capacity or another on People teams, switching between Talent, L&D, and Organizational Development job hats. She built up a reputation for leading successful people initiatives, often creating customized leadership development and professional development programs to meet the unique needs of the organizations she worked for.

Before leaving to start her own business in 2025, Nicole was the Director of Learning & Development at the National Wildlife Federation.

Nicole earned her Master’s of Education in Training & Development from Pennsylvania State University, is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, DISC Certified Trainer, and ELI Certified Instructor of Civil Treatment.

An ardent believer in investing in her local professional community, Nicole serves as the president of the local ATD chapter, the Association of Talent Development New Mexico (ATD NM). She also served on the ATD Hawai’i board in 2016.

As a Native (Jemez Pueblo & Navajo) American Indian professional, Nicole is passionate about helping other Natives become successful in the business world. Used to often being the only Native employee at her former employers, she is now exploring how she can best support other Native professionals.

Nicole currently lives in the east mountains outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Outside of work, she enjoys trail running, hiking with her Chocolate Lab, surfing, and traveling to interesting places in search of the next great outdoor adventure.
